    Course Objective:
  • Apply SAFe to scale Lean and Agile development in their enterprise
  • Understand SAFe Framework
  • Know their team and its role on the Agile Release Trains
  • Know all other teams on the train, their roles, and the dependencies between the teams

  • Plan Program Increments and Integrate with other teams

    Day 1:

    • SAFe Introduction
      - Intro to the Scaled Agile Framework™ and Understanding SAFe
    • Lean Thinking
      - An overview of Lean Software Development and Product Development Flow
    • Agile Development
      - Application of Agile development in the enterprise context. Business Benefits
    • SAFe Values & Principles
      - Understand Core Principles of SAFe and applying them in the context
    • Planning the Iteration
      – Understand Iteration planning, Estimation, Story Splitting and Backlog Reviews

    Day 2:

    • Executing the Iteration
      - Iteration Demo, Retrospectives, Metrics, KanBan, WIPs, Integration
    • Program Level Planning
      - Understand PI Planning, System Increment Demos, Inspect & Adapt Workshops
